For Ordering a New Replacement Cover from the Hot Tub Cover Spot
1. ** ORDER ACCURACY** Customer is responsible for accurate and complete measurement of the replacement cover, and to determine the style and suitability of any options or upgrades. Cover will be made to the dimensions, color, and style indicated by the customer and no returns are accepted as a result of customer errors or omissions. Each spa cover is custom made and not returnable. NOTE: your custom cover may have a slight dimensional variance of +/- 0.5 inches. This for manufacturers tolerance and variance. We are not responsible for this variance/tolerance and please allow for manufacturer variances as you see fit for your particular order.
2. Spa covers are covered by their manufacturer’s warranties, but are not returnable. In any case, Hot Tub Cover Spot shall not be responsible for freight associated with cancelled orders.
3. “Free delivery” or “free shipping” means that the actual freight costs are included in the purchase price of completed sales, no extra charge, except as noted. Free Delivery generally applies to cover caps, cover lifters, etc.
4. Shipment is available within the U.S. 48 contiguous states. There will be an extra charge for deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii. Contact us for a quote. Sorry, spa covers cannot be shipped outside of the U.S.A.
5. Due to their large size, spa covers must be shipped via truck. Air service is not available.
6. **PRODUCTION TIMES** Production time is running around 9-12 business days to build (after any additional approval needed). Please note that the aforementioned production timelines are only an estimate and can be subject to unforeseen delays such as high factory volumes, holiday closures, factory staffing shortages, and disruptions to our manufacturers’ material supply chains. These factors are outside of our control, and can affect production times. We have seen production take 25-30 days in extremely rare cases.
7. **SHIPPING TIMELINES** Due to the size of our custom cover products, your order will ship with one of our LTL partners. All custom cover orders take 1-4 weeks to arrive when shipped, depending on the destination, after they have left our facility. LTL, or less than truckload, carriers will provide a tracking number, but your shipment status may not update as frequently as a traditional carrier. Some LTL freight carriers will call you to schedule delivery ahead of time, while other carriers will just drop it off much like your traditional carrier.
8. **SHIPPING COST** Replacement Custom Hot Tub and Spa Covers are eligible for Free Standard Shipping. However, some remote, rural, or congested large metropolitan areas (NYC for example) may not be eligible for free shipping and may incur additional nominal shipping fees. Any applicable charges will be calculated at checkout. This total will include all checkout costs, and you will NOT be contacted for any further shipping or other costs. NOTE: Some locations which are not easily accessible by tractor-trailer may be subject to additional charges from the carrier (NOT us) upon review of the delivery address by the carrier. This rarely will be the case, but it does happen on occasion. Examples (but not limited to) – include: lanes or alleys too narrow, islands or locations requiring ferry boat transportation, gated communities restricting trucks, unfrequented delivery zones, remote locations and unpaved roads. If in doubt, please contact us and we will check with the delivery company prior to proceeding so we can obtain your approval for additional charges.
9. Pricing indicated is for covers up to 105″ maximum length or width. Oversize or spa covers with speaker cutouts, special hoods, or other unique features are subject to additional charges. Please email us for a price quote.
10. A daytime phone number is required for the freight company to call you for delivery arrangements.
11. A physical address is required. We cannot ship spa covers to PO Boxes or APO.
12. You or the person you designate must be on hand to inspect and sign for truck deliveries. Missed delivery appointments may result in redelivery charges to you.
13. Carefully inspect the carton and packaging, and note any carton damage, no matter how slight, on the freight receipt prior to signing.
14. Damage is very unlikely, but if spa cover itself appears damaged, note it on delivery receipt and refuse the delivery if possible. Then contact us for assistance to have your cover remade and reshipped.
15. If possible, you may ask the delivery driver to wait while you open and inspect the package for concealed damage. If damage is observed, refuse the shipment.
16. If you or your designee sign for and accept the delivery without noting damage, you are indicating that the shipment arrived in good condition, and no claims can be made. If you do not inspect the package contents, then any damage claims are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and may be denied by the freight carrier.
17. **DAMAGE** All damage (refused or concealed or otherwise) must be reported to us within 5 calendar days or claims for damage will be denied.
18. ** COLORS** Spa cover colors shown online may vary from actual material due to dye variation in the vinyl manufacturing process, variations in monitor displays, and due to the photography of the color sample. If in doubt about color, request a sample swatch before ordering to determine. Hot Tub Cover Spot will not be responsible for these color variations as each cover is custom made.
19. Since spa covers are unique and custom made, once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.
